Key sources used to compile the information on this site include:
-- My research into pre-1954 results in the newspapers available on the Trove Newspapers website (this is ongoing)
-- The Football in Australia website created by Alan Morley
-- The official results and tables websites of football bodies in Queensland (and throughout Australia for nationwide season listings).
-- The Internet Archive
-- My own records, including soccer annuals from the 1970s and 1980s
-- Queensland football historians, including Mark Pringle, Alan Fouche, Peter Eedy, and Neville Cruickshanks.
While existing websites contain much of the information on this site, the only online attempt at a soccer club database including Queensland teams is the OzFootball site.
However, while the OzFootball club data is extensive for some of the other states, the data for Queensland clubs is quite sparse.
Many Queensland football club websites (including their Wikipedia pages) reflect a gap in club records beyond the most recent seasons, so this site has been created in part to fill that void.
All contributions, including correction of errors is gratefully accepted.
